As a Test Team Lead you will lead the Quality Assurance team, champion QA Services, manage the release process and participate in projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead a team of QA Analysts
- Continue to define and refine a Quality Assurance framework
- Coordinate, communicate and provide final sign off fortnightly releases
- React to and support live issue resolutions
- Write and execute manual tests / automated regression and acceptance tests
- Build relationships with multiple stakeholders
- Champion continuous improvement and the importance of QA Services in and outside of product development
- Actively participate in agile activities in the Product Development team
- Take ownership of performance test results
The successful Test Team Lead candidate will fulfil the majority of the following requirements:
- University degree - minimum 2:1 (or equivalent) - in a discipline such as engineering, project management, business, multimedia, design or software development
- Very strong leadership skills and an ability to inspire others
- Passion for Quality Assurance and making it an integral part of product delivery
- Excellent understanding of QA processes and agile software development lifecycle
- Commercial experience in a technology-led company leading or working as part of a QA / Testing team
- Experience with automated testing and continuous integration
- Ability to assess risks and make decisions under pressure
- Excellent communication skills
- Sense of ownership and responsibility for the work you and your team deliver
You will receive a salary up to £55k, dependent upon experience, and you will also receive an excellent benefits package.
