A top six UK building society chose Capita Assurance and Testing to performance test the software quality of their high profile IFA web project. Once concurrent user, application and transaction levels had been carefully analysed, Capita Assurance and Testing used testing tools to develop performance test scripts and accurately simulate load levels. As a direct result of Capita Assurance and Testing’s successful performance testing, the building society was able to deliver a ‘fit for purpose’ system to their customers, confident in the knowledge that peak and future volumes had been thoroughly tested. Capita Assurance and Testing completed the assignment on time and to budget, delivering real value to the client, in the form of reusable test scripts and recommendations to enhance the monitoring of the LIVE system and suggestions for achieving the most efficient and effective means of completing the next performance test.
